Tom joined the DOVFD in December of 2007 with prior firefighting and EMS experience. Tom served as a Lieutenant for 2 years and was promoted to Captain November 2010. He is a fire protection engineer by profession and is employed by the American Fire Sprinkler Association. His wife is Patricia, has a son Christopher, and a daughter Mika who all reside in Double Oak.
